Our group

Our group
(r-l) Amberley, Julia, Phoebe, Tobias, and me. It was my idea to do a group photo, but I think we were all glad for it. This evening was a fantastic way to wrap up this trip.

It wasn’t much longer till I departed to catch my evening flight to Athens, and everyone parted ways the following days. (You guys probably heard the story with the mother-of-a-friend-of-a-friend who picked me up from the Athens airport at 12:30am and took me back again at 5:15am, just to give me a place to sleep for a few hours before beginning the rest of my journey back to the US. I’m still humbled by the kindness and generosity of people everywhere.)
